Typical layout

Foster-designed 'Armadillo' auditorium beside the OVO Hydro.
Where to sit
Best overall
Center stalls, roughly rows 5–15 — close without craning.
Best value
Front of the circle: the view of the full stage often beats the rear stalls at a lower price.
Skip if picky
Far side seats in wide theaters can clip the near wing of the stage.
Upper circle
Fine for music-forward shows; bring the opera glasses for drama.
SEC Armadillo fan tip
Same campus as the Hydro - check which hall your ticket names before setting off.
Getting there
Exhibition Centre station links the SEC campus to Glasgow Central low level.
